Scholefield House has been in business for over 20 years, providing guests with the special opportunity to stay in an authentically restored Victorian home while visiting Victoria.
Wedding Flowers
    During that time, the King Suite has become the favorite room for honeymooners and those celebrating anniversaries. This luxurious and spacious room is decorated in warm regal colours of blue and gold, with a sparkling crystal chandelier, magnificent mahogany mirror, etchings of British monarchs and rich blue brocades. 

    Couples love to curl up in front of the majestic wood-burning fireplace or relax in the king-sized bed. The sitting area in the bay window, overlooking the grand horse chestnut trees and front garden, is the perfect place to relax with a drink, or a leather-bound book. The room is furnished with a spacious ensuite bathroom featuring the warm and sensuous pleasure of an air-jet tub-for-two and shower.     

    Breakfast can be served to the room if you wish or you can come down and enjoy breakfast as served in the Parlour.

    Alternatively, there is the newly redecorated Queen Victoria Room with
its jacuzzi air-jet tub-for-two and queen bed.

    For an added touch we can provide bubbley and roses at your request.

    And we can recommend an intimate and  'special restaurant' that will treat you 'special' for your celebration.

Intimate Weddings

    Over the past few years, Scholefield House has arranged and hosted dozens of small, intimate wedding in the Parlour, in front of the wood-burning fireplace or from late spring to early fall, in our garden patio.

Staying with us, we can assist you with:

• travel plans
• obtaining the marriage licence
• arranging a small private ceremony at Scholefield House
• getting flowers, champagne, and a cake
• planning accommodation for other guests either here
at Scholefield House or nearby
• limo or carriage service
• making dinner reservations at fine nearby restaurants
