The Off-Season at Scholefield House

Scholefield House provides the privacy and quiet graciousness of Victorian living in the heart of Victoria, the only Canadian city that stays green all year and that offers tourists and travellers a safe destination with a mild climate. The "winter" weather in Victoria is moderated by the prevailing westerly winds blowing in off the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean maintains a year-round, constant 10C (50F) temperature keeping the climate in a comfortable range. In January, the 'coldest' month, the average high is 6.0C (43F) and the low is 0.1C (32F)

In December, the streets of the City of Victoria as well as Butchart Gardens are decoratd for Christmas. The cherry blossoms and the golfers return in January, the annual 'flower count' takes place in February with the daffodils and crocuses colouring the city, and gardeners rolling up their sleeves to get ready for Spring.
Throughout the winter, the museums and theatres offer a wide array of attractions for visitors and Victorians.

In the off-season (November through March), Scholefield House offers special discounts of up to 50%
and special weekly rates.

(Shoulder season discounts in April, May and October.)
