February

While most of Canada suffers unto deep snow and bitter cold, Victoria enjoys the beginning of
Spring.
The daffodils cover the fields in Saanich where they are picked and shipped across the country.
Each year, proud Victorians take a "blossom count" in February
to tease and taunt the rest of the nation.

In 2003, 3,442,622,305 buds were counted.
Come and count your share!
The temperatures range from 3-9 C or 37-50 F
with an average of 2.6 inches of rain with
lots of sunny days.
All the flowers are from our garden
