The Parlour at Scholefield House contains all of the orginal features and feel of this 1892 Victorian Queen Anne house.The 1890s parlour

The wood-burning fireplace is the original and was first intended to burn coal mined by the Dunsmuir mines up-island.

 

The functioning fir pocket doors were designed to separate the formal parlour from the family living room.Guests enjoying breakfast

 

 

 

Now decorated in Victorian style with period art and furniture, it is now the room where guests enjoyed the five course breakfast each morning.
